Runner’s World

Tom O’Reilly scored a pair of touchdowns to pace Runner’s World to the “A” Championship on Sunday with a 39-0 beating of the 1880 Trojans.

Kevin Beyea, Chris Bartlett and Peter Clever all added single TDS for Runner’s World while Rob Wilson picked up two, two-point converts and Brendan Carson booted three singles.

The Walking Wounded trimmed Shoppers Drug Mart 13-6 in the “B” final.

Bob Driscoll and Bruce Crilley scored TDs for the Wounded with Steve Porter adding a convert.

Richard Pitts scored the lone Shoppers major.

There is an organizational meeting Wednesday night beginning at 7:30 at the YMCA.

All teams from last year are asked to have a representative at the session as well as any new teams or new players who wish join the fold.

Organizer Carl White explained that the circuit hopes to expand from eight to ten teams and is expecting to start the 1982 season September 12.
