2nd Team Rep Meeting – Thurs Aug 24th at 7pm @ Somerset Pub

The 2nd league meeting is happening at Somerset Pub (229 Churchill Blvd in the North End of the city).

All teams wishing to be part of the 2017 SJMTFL season must have a representative present. New players and representatives for teams new to the league are also advised to attend.

If a team is unable to have a representative present, please call Ken Lawrence Sr. at 333-3891 to let him know.

New Website Design

Hope you like our new fresh and redesigned SJMTFL Website!  The last time it was redesigned was back before the start of the 2014 season.  After 3 seasons, it was time for a change.

Here are some of new features:

  • Game Stats – Each game will list the players that had a statistic during the game.  Plus at the bottom, it shows a comparison from a team total level.
  • The fun thing is the Team Colors…You will notice the colors will change depending on what current Team your are viewing.  Also, the Home Team of the games.
  • Player Profile pictures and Jersey Number.   If we don’t have your Jersey Number or you would like a different profile picture, please contact the Website Admin.

In closing, the new website is a lot easier from an Administration point of view (Adding News, Updating Scores..etc…)

2017 is starting off with a New Logo…New Website…now we need New Players and/or Teams!!!  If you are interested in playing, please contact Ken at 333-3891 or email the league (Found under the About Us – Executive)

Thanks to everyone who came out to close off the 2016 season at Club Rewind!

“A” Champions – Rage

“B” Champions – Bandits

League Leading Scorer – Tim Jackson (Rage) with 78 points

League Leading Sacks – Peter Stoner (Brick City Bombers) with 21 sacks

League Leading Interceptions – Graeme Brown (Bandits) & Jim Mather (Raiders) with 8 interceptions

League Award – Offensive MVP – Chris Boyce

League Award – Defensive MVP – Peter Stoner

League Award – Sportsmanship – Rick Dean

“A” and “B” Championships

The “A” and “B” finals are this upcoming Saturday Nov 5th at the Allison Grounds Field.

“A” Final

2:00pm – Rage vs. Dub Squad

Both teams are at their first “A” Championship game! The Dub Squad, a new team this season, finished in 1st Place with a record of 10-1. The Rage are in their 8th season and they defeated the Raiders (35-20) this past Tuesday Nov 1st to advance to the “A” Championship Game. During the Regular Season, the Dub Squad defeated the Rage in two games by a score of 13-12 and 14-6 (a net of 9 points) while the third match up was a Default by the Dub Squad. So, this Super Saturday it will be a battle for the teams as each team wants their first “A” Championship Trophy!

“B” Final

11:00am – Brick City Bombers vs. Bandits

It’s the second season for both teams! The Brick City Bombers are making their 2nd appearance in the “B” Championship game while it’s the Bandits first. The Bandits beat the Brick City Bombers two of the three games during the season. Now it comes to one game to see which team goes home with their first “B” Championship!

Sun Oct 30th Games CANCELLED

The games scheduled for today (Sunday October 30th, 2016) are CANCELLED due to the field being used for Provincial Soccer (High School).

These games will not be rescheduled as Playoffs start on Tuesday Nov 1st.
